The solid one-piece construction, die-cast aluminum frame and lever-drag system perform under extreme pressure. The Shimano Tyrnos has four stainless steel A-RB® ball bearings which are 10 times more resistant to corrosion than regular stainless steel.  This reel can last a lifetime. The ratcheting drag lever eliminates the chance of the lever moving due to boat vibration. A twin pawl anti-reverse system delivers the hooksetting power you need.
